Witchcraft
One of Tom Colicchio (Bravo's top chef judge; owner of Craft restaurants) projects, Witchcraft is a series of sandwhich and coffee cafe/shops scattered throughout Manhattan. They are aesthetically really neat, being placed directly off of the street, often near or in park or plaza areas, with a walk-up order window. We ate at the Broadway and 32nd St spot, right next to a small park/plaza. We got some terrific La Colombe coffee and a really good pumpkin muffin, as well as a delicious peanut butter sandwhich cookie (yes, i know, I'm sort of a health freak).
If you are walking around and see one, stop in for some great coffee, and check out their menu, as they also have a lot of sandwhiches, soups and salads.

saw the pic. Wil you please describe the flavor of a peanut butter sandwich cookie?
ReplyDeleteThe peanut butter sandwhich was crunchy with a creamy, almost whipped consistency to the inside. Definite peanut butter flavor, but much lighter than your standard peanut butter.
